Give. Give. Give. We thank God everyday that we have our beautiful twin daughters adopted from Guatemala and that we were able to make a significant difference in their lives. While we can’t do the same for so many others who so desperately need it, we can assist those who have committed their lives do doing this for the people of Guatemala.

Hands of Hope, is a small non-profit organization founded in 1998 (and originally funded) by the Anita and Gregory Giagnocavo Family. They operate the organization and are committed to helping the rural poor of Guatemala improve their lives. For them, that means, providing medical care and medicine to those who are sick and do not have access to health care–which unfortunately, is most of the residents of Guatemala’s rural communities. What started 10 years ago as a recovery effort after 80,000 homes were destroyed by Hurricane Mitch, grew into the building of a medical clinic in a remote indigenous Mayan village. The Hands of Hope Clinic is the only medical clinic for 10,000 villagers and it provides medical services to more than 400 patients a month, mostly women and children. Without Hands of Hope, nearly all of these people would not have access to medical care. We became aware of them during our adoption process and have been trying to do what we can to help their wonderful charity since then.
